"The Poetry of Somalia is a three-part podcast I created for my poetry class on the topic of Somali oral poetry, one of the country's richest traditions. It goes over the basics of Somali poetry, its many different forms and the power the tradition has had and continues to have both in conflict resolution and the Somali diaspora. I felt doing a podcast was the best form for this project given the oral nature of the Somali tradition. I hope you enjoy."
