"The idea for this project came hand in hand with the idea for this site. I was at the beach, there was a lot of trash, and I thought it'd be cool to create something out of the trash. Inspired by the work of Alejandro Durán, I decided to pick up a bunch of trash and photograph it. This collection is made entirely of trash that was found on the beach and begs the question: What can the things we throw out tell us? What stories do they hold? My goal with this collection is to make these stories come alive."
